This has been our go to place in Gettysburg for as many years as I can remember. As others have indicated the prime attraction to this particular property is its close proximity to the battlefield. The pool in the courtyard area was just redone a couple years ago and although tends to be cool if it’s not the summer months is very nice. The rooms are slightly dated so the property needs to be diligent here and to continue to invest in the finishes, fixtures, furnishings. They used to have an indoor hot tub, which I really really miss. Some parking spots are pretty tight so if you have a big rig, you might wanna ask at check-in for an alternate parking space other than the one assigned to your room. Hotel staff from front desk to housekeeping are always friendly. They’ve stepped up their breakfast the last couple years as well. Still, don’t expect anything homemade nor home spun here. Cornstarch syrup if you know what I mean.

Reasonably priced, the rooms are good, great location, the breakfast cottage is so unique. A stay here added lot to our trip to Gettysburg

With in walking distance of a lot.

The best part about this hotel is the location. It is walking distance to downtown and also easy accessible via the bike trails. If you are planning to bike the trails, this location is perfect. We also liked how affordable it was, it included breakfast and had a small pool which was perfect for traveling with kids. Their breakfast is buffet style and good enough but the house where breakfast is served has limited seating for the size of the hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable enough, only downside was the loud heater fan. It has a bar on premises, which we did not get to check out. Across from it is a local brewery with delicious food and drinks. Overall we were happy with our stay and would recommend this place if you are looking for a convenient location for a couple of nights at an affordable price.
